4th Grade Clay Slab Castles and Medieval Dragons

4th grade made a stop in Medieval times to learn about castle architecture.  Did you know that the first castle was more like a fort and made out of wood?

In addition to castles, students created dragons featuring characteristics according to folklore passed around by medieval explorers.

Hello! I really like this project. I am a first year art teacher and wanted to see if the model magic sticks to the card board or did you have to use glue? Also how did you attach the tails and wings? Thank you!!!
